I LOVE Laughter Yoga!: It is practice that can profoundly change your life. It's not a joke- it works. And you don't even need a sense of humor to do it. It is not for a few to learn about the mental, physical and spiritual health benefits of it, but for everyone.

If/when we stop laughing, we know there's a problem-haha!:) We are not supposed to be a bunch of negative, pessimistic people- but to live life to the fullest- And to experience Joy, Love and Laughter-which then gives you A Very Strong Immune System. Choose to Laugh, and to express your feelings.

*All the time in my classes: People with high blood pressure take their blood pressure readings before the Laughter Yoga session- Then again After- And their Blood Pressure is normal.

Houston, we have laughter! Stressbuster Tools for Real Life ~ Healing with Laughter Yoga: Let go and go with the flow in these breathing-movement exercises for people of all professions, ages, and abilities. Learn about the healing power of breathing to release emotions including anger, stress, grief, joy and forgiveness. Laughter yoga oxygenates the brain and the body, greatly strengthens the immune system, and restores joy and well-being. There are no on-the-floor exercises. No yoga mats, special exercise clothing, or sense of humor required!

ABOUT LAINIE'S LAUGHTER YOGA WORK:

It is a joy to begin the first public Laughter Yoga classes in Houston & also through The Jung Center and Houston Public Library. I believe in providing it to the community. I began practicing and was certified in New York City by Vishwa Prakash. I am a classical music singer (Soloist singing includes Lincoln Center/Carnegie Hall) I bring my knowledge of the physiology of breathing and movement exercises to teach all people. FAQ'S ABOUT LAINIE's CLASSES:

What is Laughter Yoga, and do I need to ARRIVE or BE in a happy/laughing/smiling/good mood? Answer: No.

It doesn't matter what mood you are in- sad or happy- or if you have no sense of humor at all. ALL emotions/moods are expressed through the breathing exercises. We are not just laughing ;)

LAUGHTER YOGA: (Sometimes called Laughing Yoga/Laughter/play therapy) is for ALL! It is both FUN and THERAPEUTIC.

*Lainie's classes are about 30 minutes of simple exercises for all, followed by rest/Any Q&A's/Health benefits talk time.

At every class there are new & repeated exercises anyone of any age and ability can do. 3 to 103 years old!

• There are no on-the-floor exercises, group physical-contact exercises, or difficult contortions.
• You may sit in a chair if unable to stand/prefer, and you Move at your own pace.
• No Yoga Mats or special exercise clothing are needed, so you may do this during or right after your work day.
• There is no 'right or wrong' way to do it. It is non-competitive/judgmental.
• There is no joke-telling, and it’s not an entertainment/comedy routine- just easy Breathing movement exercises for all.
• Bring water to drink if you would like.
• Children are welcome accompanied by an adult/guardian.
